About The Department

The Department of Education, Nakachari College was established in the year of 1988. The founder Head of this department was Late Sonaram Gogoi. In the beginning of this department, there was no major course. In the year of 2003-04, the major course was started with a limited number of seats. Now, the department has a distinct position in the Dibrugarh University. The students of this department not only succeed in the under graduate course but also secured positions in the master degree level.

“Arise, awake, and stop not till the goal is reached.”

Facility:

• (a) Library : With the help of teachers, students and publishers, the department of Education have been set up a library of its own. It was started in 2004. Now there are about 150 books (course related and references books) in the library.
• (b) Practical Apparatus of Psychological Laboratory : There are different types of Apparatus for psychological practical in the department. Those are:
• 1. Mirror Drawing Apparatus.
• 2. Memory Drum.
• 3. Falling Door Apparatus.
• 4. Tachistoscope
